From sign‑up to live calls.
The short version: you tell us how your calls run, we build and test your receptionist, and you start getting jobs by text. This page has every step, for anyone who wants the detail.
Your call flow is written: greeting, 6 questions, emergencies to your cell. Link to read it ›
Looks good. Add "we don't do gas lines"
Added. Forwarding from your Rogers line is set. Test calls at 4 pm, then you try it tonight.
What happens after you sign.
Solo and Pro go through the same steps in days. Team and Business take longer because there is more to connect.
-
Map your callsDay 1 · a 30-minute call
We go through how your calls run today: who answers, what callers ask, what gets booked, what gets escalated and what you turn away.
For Team and Business, we sit with whoever answers your phone now and map every path a call can take.
-
Write the build briefDay 1–2
That map becomes a written brief for our AI agent specialist: the greeting, the questions in order, the prompts, the call flows and the escalation rules. You read it and approve it in plain English.
-
Gather your detailsDay 1–3 · one short form
Business name and hours, service area, services and the ones you don't do, FAQs, standard prices if you want them quoted, your techs, and the numbers to transfer to.
Carriers require basic business verification before an AI can call and text in your name. We file it; you fill in one form.
-
Set up your phone lineDay 2–3
Keep your number and forward calls to us, or get a new local number. Forwarding takes two minutes on Rogers, Bell, Telus and Freedom. On another carrier or phone system? Ask us and we will check.
-
Connect your toolsPro: day 3–5 · Team and Business: week 2–3
Pro connects your Google or Outlook calendar and sets up dispatch by text for your techs. On Team and Business, our developer connects your job software or CRM (Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, HubSpot, Clio and others) and any booking rules.
-
Test every pathBefore go-live
We run test calls through every path in the brief: a normal booking, an emergency, a caller who wants a person, a caller who wants a price, a wrong number. Whatever breaks is fixed before a real customer ever hears it.
Then you call it yourself and try to trip it up.
-
Training and handoverGo-live day · 20 minutes
We show you the texts and emails you'll get, how to dispatch a job with a one-line reply, and how to change something (usually just text us). Business plans get a dashboard walkthrough for whoever will use it.
-
Stay in the loopThroughout, then monthly
You get a short update at each step with what's done and what's next, so you never have to chase us. After launch, Team and Business plans get monthly tuning from real calls.
How calls reach your AI.
Pick one, and change it any time with a text.
Ring you first
Your phone rings for the time you choose, usually 15 to 20 seconds. If you don't answer, the AI picks up instead of voicemail.
AI takes every call
The AI answers on the first ring, every time, and only sends calls to you when a caller asks or it's an emergency.
After hours only
You or your staff answer during the day; the AI covers evenings, weekends and holidays.
Put them through on request
On any setting, when a caller asks for you by name, the AI can forward the call to your cell. If you don't pick up, it takes the message.
How booking works on Pro.
The AI doesn't choose your arrival times. It collects the job, and you decide who goes and when. No app to learn: it all happens in your normal text messages.
- The customer calls. The AI takes their name, address and the problem.
- The customer gets a text: "We got your request."
- You get a text and an email with the job and a reference number.
- You reply in one line: the reference, the tech, the day and the time window.
- The customer gets a text: "Dave will arrive 2–4 pm on Thursday. Need to change this time? Just reply here."
- If they reply, it comes straight to your phone, and you send a new time the same way.
Prefer the AI to book open slots during the call? Connect your calendar and it will offer only the times you've left open.

What to have ready.
None of this needs to be neat. A photo of your price sheet or a voice note is fine. We turn it into the brief.
- Business name, hours and service area
- The services you do, and the ones you don't
- The ten questions callers ask most
- Standard prices or call-out fee, if you want them quoted
- Who gets transferred calls and emergencies
- Your techs' names and phone numbers (Pro and up)
- Calendar, job software or CRM logins (Pro and up)
Technical questions.
Does call forwarding work with my carrier?
Yes. Conditional call forwarding (forward when busy or unanswered) works on Rogers, Bell, Telus and Freedom Mobile. We send you the exact code to dial. On another carrier or a business phone system? Ask us and we will check before you sign up.
Can I use a new number instead?
Yes. We can set you up with a new local number for your business. Many owners put it on their van, website and Google profile, and keep their cell private.
Do I need to log into a dashboard?
No. On Solo, Pro and Team everything comes to you by text and email. Business plans add a dashboard with recordings and a lead log for whoever wants it.
Why does the carrier need my business details?
Canadian and US carriers require a business to be verified before automated calls and texts can be sent in its name. It stops spam and keeps your texts from being blocked. We handle the filing; you fill in one short form.
Stop missing calls this week.
Leave your number. Ivan calls you back the same business day, hears how your calls run now, and tells you which plan fits. No card, no contract to sign on the call.
Rather talk now? Call (289) 268-7607 and our AI receptionist will take your details, the same way it would for your customers.
Got it.
We'll call within one business day.
